slang Liquor, especially that which has been made or sold illegally. Boy, that's some strong hooch! No more for me, thanks—I don't want to be drunk in five minutes flat! How much hooch did she have? She's stumbling around and slurring her words! Ew, I don't want to drink that hooch you made—it smells like rubbing alcohol!

hooch head

slang One who is apt to drink alcohol often and excessively. "Hooch" is a slang name for liquor, especially that which has been made or sold illegally. Geez, if we go to the bar a third time this week, we're gonna look like a couple of hooch heads! I used to be a real hooch head and spent all of my time in bars, but that was before I went to rehab. Yeah, I drink sometimes, but I'm no hooch head. I just have a glass of wine every so often.

slang A party featuring the consumption of large quantities of alcohol. "Hooch" is a slang name for liquor, especially that which has been made or sold illegally. I'm worried that the kids are going to have a hoochfest while we're out of town. Good, the cops just showed up. They'll break up that raucous hoochfest once and for all! If Mom and Dad catch you coming home drunk from the hoochfest blast, you are going to be in so much trouble!
