Diarrhea contracted while traveling abroad—especially in Latin American countries—due to being unaccustomed to the local cuisine and quality of water. I was having a great time in Mexico, but I came down with awful turista for the whole second week of my trip. Make sure you only drink bottled water if you don't want to spend the whole time on the toilet with the turista.
