Someone who is a devoted fan or supporter of someone or something. A reference to those who have faith in a particular religion. I was one of the faithful there to buy the company's latest product on day one If you are not already one of the faithful, the author's latest book doesn't do anything that will likely enamor your to the series, but longtime fans will find plenty to reward them.

party faithful

Those who have been loyal supporters of a political party for a long time. The candidate's rhetoric will no doubt be pleasing to the party faithful, but it may not be quite so palatable to undecided voters.
