To share a particular experience or circumstance with someone else. It's easy to mock someone else—until you're in their shoes. As hard as it is to live with a disability, remember that you're not alone—a lot of other people are in your shoes too. I heard Sarah got caught copying her work from someone else. Boy, I wouldn't want to be in her shoes right now.
