A phrase used to indicate a number between 10 and 99, or that set of numbers as a whole. The sales growth for that product was in the double digits this quarter. My daughter turns 10 this weekend, and I still can't believe I almost have a kid in double digits. A: "How many years has it been since you two saw each other?" B: "Oh, it's in the double digits, for sure."
