To be unchanged or unchanging from a time in the past, especially in an antiquated or obsolete way. This town is so entrenched in its backwards ideals and moral values, like it's stuck in time or something! Their house is stuck in time—no computers, no smartphones, just a typewriter and a single rotary telephone. It's like a building stuck in time. Yikes, this school is stuck in time. Did you see the ancient computers in each classroom?
