do (one's) dash

To do something to the fullest extent that one can. Primarily heard in Australia. Whew, I've done my dash! Can we just rest for a minute? There's nothing more disheartening than to do your dash on an assignment, only for the computer to crash and delete all your work. I did my dash to try and fix it, but this old engine is beyond repair, man.
