Extremely (something). The phrase is used as an intensifier. I can't believe she just waltzed in here as smug as you please and demanded a raise. He looks at himself in the mirror any chance he gets; he's as conceited as you please. That odious woman just yelled at me and then stormed off, as haughty as you please!
