slang To be extremely intoxicated from alcohol. People kept buying me shots for my birthday, so I was ossified by the time I left the bar. I guess I was making something of a show of myself, but I was having too much fun to realize that I was ossified. A: "I can't believe Mary Alice is doing karaoke—she's so shy!" B: "I know, she must be ossified."
