To be solely or excessively fixated on or infatuated with someone or something. For as long as I've known him, Dan has been obsessed with making money. I think it's because he grew up in poverty. A few of her fans are totally obsessed with her, stalking every aspect of her private life. Tommy is obsessed with baseball right now, so just get him a new bat for his birthday—he'll be thrilled.
