Someone who seems likely to succeed in collegiate studies. You have a 3.6 GPA, you volunteer in the summer, and you row as well? You're definitely college material. With all these absences, you're not going to seem like college material to admissions departments. I worked really hard in high school to ensure that I was not only college material but was also deserving of a scholarship.
