good enough
1. Sufficient to suit the purpose(s) at hand without needing to be perfect. There are still a few kinks to work out in how users' comments are displayed, but it's good enough for now. I hope these snacks are good enough for our guests. This dress is good enough for me—I don't need anything fancy.
2. OK; that's fine. A: "I couldn't find the exact type of chips you wanted, but I think I found something pretty similar." B: "Good enough, thanks." A: "I couldn't unjam the printer myself, but someone from IT is on their way down." B: "Good enough. Thank you, Janet." They waived the late fee, so that's good enough. It's more than I thought they would do!
