1. Someone who is silly or stupid. A shortening of "goober." That guy's a total goob—I can't ask him to prom! Jimmy's such a goob—of course he's the class clown. Don't trust that goob with such an important task.

2. A pimple. Do you have any zit cream? I've got a huge goob right in the middle of my forehead. A: "Ugh, I can't believe I suddenly have a goob on my nose right before prom." B: "Well, don't pop it, that'll only make it worse!" Now that my son's hit puberty, the poor kid's face has broken out in goobs.
