2. To cause someone to become very excited or enthusiastic about something. In this usage, a noun or pronoun is used between "get" and "stoked." I'm trying to get my students stoked on our field trip to the natural history museum. A great way to get your fans stoked on your movie is to release a teaser trailer that leaves them wanting more. I'd love to get my kids stoked on classical music, but they just aren't interested.
