2. To cause someone to become very excited or enthusiastic (about something). In this usage, a noun or pronoun is used between "get" and "stoked." I'm trying to get my students stoked about the field trip to the natural history museum. The movie has an incredible teaser trailer that got fans around the world stoked to see it. I'd love to get my kids stoked about classical music, but they just aren't interested.
