1. verb, slang To drink alcohol. You guys were gargling until the wee hours of the morning—how hungover are you? Nah, I'm tired. You guys go to the bar and gargle—I'm going home. Do we really have to gargle to have a good time? It is possible to enjoy yourself while sober, you know.
2. noun, slang An alcoholic drink. It's been a long week—want to get a gargle with me? I must have had a few gargles if I got up and did karaoke at the bar last night! There's nothing wrong with having some gargles, as long as you don't try to drive home afterward.

gargle factory

slang A bar. You guys were at the gargle factory until the wee hours of the morning—how hungover are you? It's been a long week—want to go to the gargle factory with me? I got up and did karaoke at the gargle factory last night? Hoo boy, I must have had quite a few drinks then!
