fluid

embalming fluid

1. Literally, a type of fluid that is used to preserve a corpse. ("Embalming" is the process of injecting a corpse with such fluid.) We haven't injected the embalming fluid yet—that's the next step. A: "I'm afraid to ask, but what exactly is embalming fluid?" B: "A mixture of chemicals, like formaldehyde." There's plenty to do before the funeral, including injecting the corpse with embalming fluid and getting the mortuary cosmetologist in here to do her makeup.
2. slang Liquor, especially whiskey. If I keep drinking this embalming fluid, I'll be drunk in no time! Glen's a mean drunk when liquor's involved, so keep that embalming fluid away from him. Help him get home, will ya? Because he's been drinking that embalming fluid all night, he can barely stand up straight now.

gender fluid

Not strictly identifying as one distinct gender, perhaps identifying as a different gender at different times, or identifying as more than one gender at once. My sex is male, but I'm gender fluid, and I feel more feminine than masculine some days. If someone is gender fluid, it means that their gender identity may fluctuate. If you identify as male and female at the same time, maybe you're just gender fluid.
