bring (something) to (one's) attention

To inform one of something. I think you need to bring Mark's complaint to the boss' attention, in case it becomes an issue later. Thank you for bringing that to our attention. We appreciate your feedback. How was I supposed to know that the system was down when no one brought it to my attention!
