boil (something) out of (something)
To use boiling water to clean a substance (such as a stain) from an item. Do you know if can you boil grass stains out of cotton? I have no idea if you can boil cooking oil out of clothes. Personally, I always use dish detergent on those kinds of stains. I suspect you'll ruin the tablecloth if you try to boil out that stain.
