To be well informed of the most current details (about something). I want you to make sure the entire team is up to speed on the status of the project. It seems I'm not up to speed on the policy changes happening this year—is there a reference guide I can consult? The boss definitely needs to be up to speed about all of this before his meeting with the board tomorrow.
