To be overrun by or beset with something unpleasant and unwanted, usually a pest of some kind. We can't live in this disgusting apartment, it's infested with roaches! I just overheard the nurse saying that the second-grade class is infested with lice. A: "Yeah, if you've seen one mouse, your place is probably infested with mice." B: "Please stop talking!"
