1. To be very excited or energetic. We were so hepped up before the big game that we could barely sit still. The dogs are all hepped up after being let out of their cages, so let them run around outside for a bit. I'm always hepped up whenever I hear this tune!
2. To be stimulated by some substance. His behavior has been so strange that I'm starting to wonder if he's hepped up on pills. I'm all hepped up after those three coffees—let's do this! My brother looked after the kids for me today, and they were totally hepped up on sugar when I came back to pick them up.
