An acronym for "exclusive distribution," referring to a particular level of classification for government documents. There are only 10 copies of this report, all marked EXDIS, so they are to reach no one's eyes but those to whom they are addressed. Sir, this document is marked "EXDIS," and you don't have the security clearance to view it. I'd love to read the committee's full report, but if it's labeled "EXDIS," average government workers like us will never get to see it.
