A sale or auction of all or the majority of someone's personal property. Most commonly done following a person's death. OK, if there is anything you want out of Grandma's house, be sure to go in and claim it now. Everything else is being sold at the estate sale next week. Wow, they sure sold everything but the curtains in that estate sale. He's been dead, what, an hour, and you're already planning the estate sale? Wow, you really can't get rid of his things fast enough, can you?
