From Latin, literally, "see below," used to direct a reader to a later portion of text. In one such study (vide infra, pp. 104 et seq.), the results in the control group were consistent with the population at large.

From Latin, literally, "see above," used to direct a reader to an earlier portion of text. As I detailed already (vide supra, pp. 99–101), such problems are entrenched in every level of bureaucracy.
