To be particularly irritated, frustrated, or exasperated (by something). It's no use being torqued off over the professor's teaching style; you just have to adapt and do as well as you can. I was pretty torqued off to hear that yet another local grocery store was being bought out by the huge supermarket chain. A: "My dad is really torqued off by some of these political commercials."
