there are bad apples in every bushel

there are bad apples in every bushel

Every group or organization has members ("bad apples") whose words or actions negatively impact the entire group, situation, project, etc. A: "Jeremy is such a brat. He won't listen to a word I say, and he gets the other kids all riled up too!" B: "Well, you know what they say—there are bad apples in every bushel." I get that there are bad apples in every bushel, but when the CEO is one of them, the company is doomed.
