talk it up
1. To converse (with someone), especially profusely or enthusiastically. I was talking it up with this guy at the bar about his job as a crime scene cleaner. Once they see how much it will benefit them, I think they'll be very happy. I've read the research on that new medication, and you shouldn't believe those commercials talking it up.

The industry is filled with players who attempt to talk investments up just to line their own pockets.
