To be able to outpace someone else. Primarily heard in UK. I've been training hard so that I have the legs of everyone else in the race. I know I don't have the legs of the young guys in the game anymore, so I don't blame Coach for bringing in a pinch-runner for me. I hope you have the legs of your competition in this heat!
