feel (one's) legs

To be able to use one's legs, as by standing or walking. I had a hard time feeling my legs after such a long flight. You've been in a cast for weeks, so don't be surprised if it takes you some time to feel your legs. Hang on, my foot fell asleep. Give me a minute to feel my legs again!
