To reveal something that was meant to be kept secret, especially a plan. You're going to give the show away if you don't quit whispering about it! They were trying to sneak up on the other team, but John's bright T-shirt gave the show away. You mentioned Maddy's upcoming surprise party to her? Yeah, I'd say you gave the whole show away!
