To begin doing something promptly and with focus, energy, or enthusiasm. Primarily heard in UK. Sorry I was late, I got stuck into this new book I'm reading. The new intern really got stuck into her work here. The boss is even considering offering her a permanent position. You better get stuck into this project because we need it done ASAP.
