geez

A mild expression of surprise, annoyance, anger, disappointment, etc. (A minced oath for "Jesus.") Geez, Tom, don't you think you could have warned me before you turned on the sprinklers? geez Louise

A mild expression of surprise, annoyance, anger, disappointment, etc. (The rhyming word "Louise" is added to give emphasis to "geez," a minced oath for "Jesus.") Geez Louise, Tom, don't you think you could have warned me before you turned on the sprinklers? Oh, geez Louise, not again! That's the third time this month that the car battery has died.
