far right

1. noun Those with extreme or radical conservative beliefs, considered as a whole. Nationalism and traditionalism are often core principles of the far right. Geez, you act like I'm on the far right just because I voted for a Republican. I have voted for Democrats in the past, you know. Hey, there are plenty of shadings to conservatism. Being a registered Republican does not automatically mean you're on the far right.
2. adjective Having extreme or radical conservative beliefs. Several far-right politicians have begun calling for a total closure of the border to protect the jobs of the country's citizens. Geez, you act like I'm some far-right voter just because I voted for a Republican in this particular instance. I have voted for Democrats in the past, you know. In this town of moderates and independents, that candidate won't get far peddling a far-right agenda.
