slang A cloud of flying insects, particularly as one drives or rides through them. Ew, gross, a bug storm! Roll up your windows, quick! A: "Your windshield's a mess!" B: "I know, I went through a bug storm on my way into town." I'm having a hard time seeing through this bug storm and it's freaking me out! Should I pull over?
