be suited for (something)

To be fitting or appropriate for something. You'll want to wear clothes that are well suited to the extreme conditions out here. No offense, but I don't think you're suited for this line of work. You have to be able to tolerate the sight of blood if you want to be a nurse. That girl's pretty enough, but her face just isn't suited for a couture ad campaign.

appropriate for something. (*Typically: be ~; become ~.) Do you think I am suited for this kind of work? Those clothes are not suited for outdoor work.
