be suited for (something)

To be fitting or appropriate for something. You'll want to wear clothes that are well suited to the extreme conditions out here. No offense, but I don't think you're suited for this line of work. You have to be able to tolerate the sight of blood if you want to be a nurse. That girl's pretty enough, but her face just isn't suited for a couture ad campaign.

To match, adapt, or tailor someone or something to someone or something. Often used in passive constructions. Our team of technicians are suited to any technical emergency that comes your way. We can't just suit the job to you because you don't like certain aspects of it—if you aren't happy here, you can find another place to work.
