To be overly concerned with or focused on the smallest, most trifling details, especially to the point of being oblivious or inattentive to more important issues. One of the best lessons you can take on board when starting your own business is to avoid fixating on the little things. Because once you're caught up in the minutiae, more important stuff things start piling up. It's all too easy to be caught up in the minutiae of life sometimes, worrying about all the little things without stopping to appreciate what a beautiful world we live in. Stop, you're all caught up in the minutiae. You need to look at the full scope of the issue.
