a killing spree

A series of multiple murders committed consecutively or in a relatively short period of time, usually by a single person. With the violent tendencies that this guy has already displayed, I am very worried we'll see him on the news one day on a killing spree. Prior to his arrest, the man went on a killing spree and terrorized innocent people across the state. Five women were murdered in the killing spree, and their cases went unsolved for 20 years—until this strange piece of evidence turned up last week.
