Exceptionally light in weight. The material in the coat is durable and waterproof, but feels as light as a feather. Don't worry, the box is big but it's light as a feather. This trunk feels light as a feather, so I doubt we're going to find any valuables hidden in it.

Extremely lightweight. This simile dates from the sixteenth century, appearing in Edward Hall’s Chronicles (1548) and many times thereafter. Indeed, it eventually gave rise to the word featherweight, used in boxing to describe a contender who weighs less than 126 pounds (57 kg).
