To be light in weight (instead of being heavy or burdensome). Sadie is scrawny, so let her carry that box over there—it's as light as a feather. I can carry all of these bags at once because they're all as light as a feather. This trunk feels light as a feather, so I doubt we're going to find any valuables hidden in it.
