hooker

slang A prostitute, typically a female. A lot of hookers hang around this part of town at night. I bet hookers can still be found in the seedier parts of the city. Ew, you creep! I'm not a hooker, I'm just waiting for the bus!

hotter than a hooker's doorknob on nickel night

rude slang Very hot. Usually said in reference to air temperature. A: "I heard it's pretty warm out today." B: "Oh yeah, hotter than a hooker's doorknob on nickel night." On summer days in Texas, when it's hotter than a hooker's doorknob on nickel night, there's nothing quite like a tall glass of sweet tea.

hooker

n. a prostitute. (Usually a female, but of either sex. This has to do with hooking men into a situation where they can be exploited sexually or robbed. It has nothing to do with a certain General Hooker.) This neighborhood has a few hookers who hang around on the street corners.
