Facebook official
Of a new romantic relationship, made public on Facebook by updating the relationship status in one's profile, and thereby revealed to one's entire network of friends and followers. Whoa, I'm definitely not ready to be Facebook official when we've only been dating for a few weeks! Well, look at that—Katie and my ex-boyfriend are Facebook official now. Ugh. After dating for a few months, and agreeing that we were dating exclusively, Eddie and I decided to make it Facebook official.
Facebook stalk
To attempt to learn more about a person (typically someone whom one does not know very well) by looking at their Facebook profile, posts, photos, etc. I Facebook stalked Josh yesterday and saw no signs of a girlfriend, so, you're welcome. Ugh, Facebook stalking people I went to high school with is just depressing anymore. They all have kids and houses and intense careers, and here I am, living at home. I don't want to Facebook stalk my date, I want to get to know him organically—and in person!
