To vomit into a toilet. Doing so often requires one to kneel in front of or bend over the toilet (the "porcelain god"), a position that is likened to kneeling before or bowing to a sacred idol. Also written as "worship the porcelain goddess." I bet that if Tommy doesn't stop drinking, he'll worship the porcelain god all night. I've never thrown up so much in my life. I can't wait till I stop worshipping the porcelain god.

To be filled with awe and admiration for one; to think exceedingly highly of one. His supporters worship the ground he walks on, so even if you present them with concrete proof that he's done something wrong, they'll still find some way to justify looking past it. To hold in reverent regard. This hyperbole for great admiration or deep romantic feeling has an archaic ring to it. Indeed, Christopher Hale wrote, in Murder in Tow (1943), “He worships the ground she walks on. Bill thought there should be a closed season on that cliché for about twenty years.” The season remains open.
