The act or instance of raising up the front wheel of a bicycle or motorcycle while the rear wheel stays on the ground, either while continuing to ride, or, less commonly, remaining stationary. He tried to do a wheelie, but ended up falling backwards onto his back. She really gets a kick out of popping wheelies on her motorcycle in front of the neighbors.
