What's wrong with (one)?(redirected from what is wrong with someone)
What's wrong with (one)?
1. What is going on with one? Why is one upset or acting unusually? What's wrong with Sarah? She's been in a foul mood all day. What's wrong with him? All I said was "Good luck in your new job" and he burst into tears!
2. Used to indicate disapproval of or disgust with one's words, actions, or behavior. We finally get invited to a nice dinner party and you have to go and act the fool—what's wrong with you? A: "I heard she got fired for cheating the company out of nearly $20,000." B: "Seriously, what's wrong with her? She gets paid a ludicrous amount of money as it is!" I can't believe I said something so stupid during my interview. God, what's wrong with me?
