wait on (one) hand, foot, and finger

wait on (one) hand, foot, and finger

To dote on one and do everything that one wants. I don't know if Tom's relationship with Jeremy is healthy. It seems like he's always waiting on him hand, foot, and finger. I hate the way Terrence waits on the boss hand, foot, and finger—what a toady! I can't say enough good things about the hotel staff—we were waited on hand, foot, and finger.
