1. To remove something (from something else) by turning it forcefully. A noun or pronoun can be used between "twist" and "off." Our toddler figured out how to twist the cap off of a milk jug this morning. The model is very customizable. You just twist off the pieces when you want to replace them with different ones.
2. To have the ability to be removed by turning. Thankfully, the cap just twists off on the newer models. A: "Do I need a special tool to detach this thing?" B: "Not, it just twists off."
