To derive joy from someone or something. I take delight in my students—their curiosity keeps my passion for teaching alive. With the way my son takes delight in being on stage, I think he should really pursue a career in acting. I wish she stop making so many revision requests for my work. It's like she takes delight in tormenting me or something!
