proverb As one learns more about something, they tend to become more distrustful or skeptical of it. A: "I've done so much research on this procedure, and I still don't know if I should go through with it or not." B: "They say that the more one knows, the less one believes." If people just took the time to research what the company does, no one would buy their products! The more one knows, the less one believes.
